I. Classification of Core Component Materials of the Cleaning Pig and Selection Standards for Domestic & Overseas Operating Conditions

Both types of components can provide Chinese-English material inspection certificates. (I) Elastic Sealing Components

Elastic sealing parts are the core functional parts of the cleaning pig, which directly determine the sealing pressure difference, wear-resistant service life and medium anti-swelling performance of the equipment. All material formula systems comply with domestic industry specifications and general overseas oil & gas industry standards, with five dedicated material types matching differentiated domestic and overseas operating conditions:

General Normal-Temperature Oil, Gas, and Water Type (Domestic High-Wear-Resistant Cast Polyurethane / Weather-Resistant Neoprene Rubber)

Technical indicators: Shore hardness 85A~95A, tear strength ≥8 N/mm, wear cycle test ≥300 times;

Application conditions: Domestic urban gas pipelines, oil field gathering pipelines; conventional normal-temperature crude oil, natural gas and municipal water supply & drainage pipelines in Central Asia and Southeast Asia overseas. It is the standard sealing material for domestic and foreign projects.

Refined Oil / Light Solvent Overseas Refinery Special Type (Imported MDI/TDI Hydrolysis-Resistant Polyurethane)

Technical indicators: Volume expansion rate <1.5% after long-term immersion in gasoline and diesel oil, featuring hydrolysis resistance and medium anti-swelling performance;

Application conditions: Domestic and overseas long-distance refined oil pipelines, light organic solvent conveying pipelines and oily wastewater pipelines of overseas refineries. It avoids pigging failure caused by swelling and deformation of sealing components and is applicable to refinery projects in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Food & Pure Water Clean Cross-Border Pipeline Special Type (Food-Grade Non-Precipitating Polyurethane)

Technical basis: Passed special domestic inspection for food contact materials, and simultaneously meets European and American safety standards for food fluid equipment. It contains no plasticizers and releases no harmful heavy metal precipitates;

Application conditions: Domestic food processing fluid-conveying pipelines, municipal drinking water pipelines; European and American food processing plants, pure water and pharmaceutical clean fluid-conveying pipelines overseas, eliminating secondary pollution of conveyed media.

Low-Temperature Resistant Special Type for Cold Overseas Pipelines (Low-Temperature Modified Polyurethane)

Low-temperature test performance: No hardening or cracking under -40℃ environment, with stable elasticity and sealing performance retained;

Application conditions: Domestic outdoor winter pipelines in northern China, long-distance oil & gas pipelines in the Russian Far East and alpine cold mountainous areas of Central Asia, and low-temperature station pipelines in high-latitude overseas regions.

Special Type for Lined Anti-Corrosion Cross-Border Pipelines (Low-Hardness Soft PU)

Performance characteristics: Low material hardness without hard edges and corners, extremely low risk of inner pipe scratching;

Application conditions: Domestic and foreign plastic-lined, PTFE-lined and epoxy-coated anti-corrosion pipelines; European and American chemical-lined anti-corrosion pipelines overseas. It will not damage the original anti-corrosion lining of pipelines during operation.

(II) Rigid Skeleton Supporting Components

The skeleton bears the overall pressure-bearing, anti-deformation and anti-corrosion functions of the equipment. All metal base materials can provide Chinese-English original manufacturer quality certificates, and finished products are uniformly treated with anti-corrosion processes. Weak-Corrosion Clean Cross-Border Pipeline Skeleton (304 Stainless Steel)

Performance: Rust-proof, free of metal ion precipitation, and resistant to mild acid and alkali corrosion;

Application conditions: Domestic fresh water circulation pipelines, weakly corrosive chemical process pipelines; pure water plants and mildly corrosive fine chemical conveying pipelines in Europe, America and Southeast Asia overseas, meeting medium cleanliness control requirements of overseas projects.

Strong-Corrosion & Offshore High-Sulfur Overseas Pipeline Skeleton (316L Stainless Steel)

Core corrosion resistance: Resists hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) sulfide corrosion, seawater chloride ion corrosion, and long-term immersion in weak acid media;

Application conditions: Domestic high-sulfur oil & gas gathering pipelines, offshore subsea pipelines; high-sulfur oilfields in the Middle East, coastal refineries in Southeast Asia, offshore oil & gas platforms overseas, cross-border subsea oil and gas pipelines. Mass products have been supplied to overseas offshore engineering export projects.

Lightweight Short Skeleton for Station Facilities (6061 Aluminum Alloy)

Advantages: Greatly reduced self-weight of equipment, lower driving pressure difference required for pig operation;

Application conditions: Narrow valve chamber stations and short-distance low-pressure pipelines domestically; small and medium-sized overseas refinery stations, compact skid-mounted pipelines overseas, and dedicated The cleaning pig for cross-border bidirectional pigging.

II. Full-Size Coverage of The Cleaning Pig

The cleaning pig manufactured by Shenyang Wensheng Instrument and Equipment Co., Ltd. covers nominal calibers from DN50 to DN1400, fully matching international oil & gas pipeline standards of 1 inch to 56 inches. The sizing system is compatible with both domestic national standard pipelines and overseas ASME and API international pipeline specifications, divided into standard stock calibers and customized non-standard calibers.
